A quick look at the role
The Health amp; Safety Business Partner is responsible for providing professional health and safety support to operational sites in Lincoln, Rutland and Norwich. This will include health and safety systems, communications, internal/external assurance programmes and delivery of health and safety projects.

Your core responsibilites
- Partner the business to collaboratively deliver the vision, mission, and balanced business plan for Health amp; Safety
- Provide expert advice to help the business implement effective Hamp;S risk controls
- Use specialist knowledge and understanding of risk profiles to provide assurance to internal stakeholders
- Impart specialist Hamp;S knowledge to others through education, communication, and training
- Partner operational colleagues to develop and implement Hamp;S improvement plans
- Advocate organisational learning by using the TopSet methodology for root cause analysis for incident investigations
- Collate and interpret data to provide detailed and accurate insight to operational colleagues that they can act upon to help the business continually reduce the likelihood and severity of workplace harm
- Keep updated on Hamp;S legislation and upkeeps expert knowledge through self-driven continuous professional development

Our essential requirements
- A recognised safety qualification and professional status
- Lead Auditor qualification or be willing to complete once appointed
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar high risk Hamp;S role
- Links Hamp;S solutions to business benefits and results
