Are you looking to start a career in Operations? Papier is excited to share that they are recruiting for a brand new role to help with administrative tasks across our entire Operations team.

Founded in May 2015, Papier is a London based start-up, which has raised ~50 million since launch and is one of the fastest growing start-ups in the UK. Papier’s collection of stationery products, from notebooks amp; diaries to notecards and wedding invitations, is designed to feed curiosity and contemplation, to invite people to uncover the possibility of a blank page.

As part of our team you will gain a broad understanding of our end to end supply chain from sourcing products to managing stock with our distribution partners (3PLs) to ensuring timely delivery of orders to our customers and dealing with customer queries or concerns.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to start their career in Operations gaining experience across all aspects of Operations at a consumer brand. You will be fully supported in this entry level role with weekly workloads managed centrally to ensure you can support the key business priorities for that week.This role has a salary of 28k per annum.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

As an operations administrator at Papier, you will support all four pillars of our Operations team; Sourcing, Print Operations, Supply Chain and Customer Service. You will also work with our various partners (printers, suppliers, 3PLs and logistics companies) to help ensure smooth running of our operations.

Supporting the sourcing team with the following:

  • Work with our Design team to generate barcodes and labels for suppliers
  • Play a supporting role in the process to produce, manage and distribute samples for both our online operation and wholesale
  • Own and maintain key sourcing documents and product IDs (SKUs) in our internal systems (e.g. responsible for creating SKUs for new products)


Supporting the print operations team with the following:

  • Assist in the New Product Development process working with internal stakeholders on product set up, printers on manufacturing, and end to end testing
  • Support our Operations Executive on Quality Management and testing
  • Support our Operations Executive on running KPI reports for all printers and 3rd party logistics providers globally.


Supporting the supply chain team with the following:

  • Help ensure data accuracy both in our ERP system and in excel through P.O creation and order management
  • Support with the management of 3rd party freight forwarders ensuring goods arrive as planned


Supporting the customer service team with the following:

  • Provide support to Papier customers via email, live chat, WhatsApp and on social media
  • Carefully follow established procedures to ensure customers gets the correct information and a speedy resolution to their issue
  • Communicate with other team members and external partners to answer questions and troubleshoot problems throughout the customer’s journey with us, from their first visit to our website, to their Papier parcel landing on their doorstep

Requirements

  • You will have excellent excel skills and enjoy following processes and procedures.
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise workloads
  • Great communication skills are a must as cross functional amp; 3rd party communication will be required
  • A problem solver with a can do attitude
  • Incredible attention to detail and a desire for best practise
