About the Role
We are seeking a freelance video editor for one of the leading media businesses in the UK.
Your role:
- Work on a range of varied projects across the business
- Shoot live news outside broadcasts and film, edit, and conceive social content
- Craft visually stunning and compelling content that captivates the audience
Day to day responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, shoot, and edit engaging multimedia content
- Bring stories to life through lens and editing skills
- Work closely with the editorial and creative teams
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Ensure highest quality standards in production
Requirements
- Flexible to work weekends and evenings
- Experience in shooting and editing with a strong portfolio
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects
- Proficiency in using professional video equipment
- Knowledge and interest in current affairs
- Keen eye for detail, composition, and ability to tell compelling visual stories
