You will be joining the Data Engineering team. The purpose of our team is to empower engineers, analysts, and data scientists with tools that enable and streamline data-driven decision making, analysis, and feature development.

We are looking for a Data/ML Engineer passionate about solving hard technical problems, loves to create Data and Machine Learning pipelines, and thrives in a product focused environment. If this is you, keep reading!What you will be doing:
- Coordinate with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Software Developers and Product Managers to design and evolve our existing architecture, improving the reliability and performance of our Data and ML infrastructure
- Build, maintain and scale our ETL and ML pipelines to help power Data Science and Analytical needs
- Write new tools and services in Python
- Research new technologies to solve tomorrow’s data infrastructure needs
- Advocate for the adoption of tools in the Data Engineering team
What we’re looking for:
- You have 4+ years of Data Engineering experience
- Ability to write high-quality code in Python, most our pipelines are in Pyspark and Ray
- Strong understanding of database fundamentals
- Experience with AWS products, specifically AWS EMR, Glue, Sagemaker and Redshift
- Experience with batch processing and streaming systems
- Exposure or strong interest in Kafka or other queuing technologies
- Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow
- You understand the ML Lifecycle
- A critical thinker and possess creative problem solving skills
- Quantitative skills, ability to think analytically, and strong attention to details
- A desire to contribute to the broader development community
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with MLOps and delivering ML Models to production
- Passionate about security and data governance
- Experience with dbt and Looker
- Experience with kubernetes
