Job Description

LEX Diagnostics is currently hiring an Equipment amp; Facilities Coordinator to become part of our Manufacturing team. In this position, you will collaborate closely with our Quality, Engineering and Biology departments to ensure the accurate calibration and servicing of the equipment in our cleanrooms and laboratories. Your role will be crucial to maintaining safe and efficient workplaces within our facilities.

Joining the LEX team as an Equipment amp; Facilities Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for keeping our laboratories and clean rooms operating efficiently to ISO13485 standards. This position holds significant importance within the LEX team, as you will be responsible for overseeing and efficiently managing maintenance and calibration schedules throughout the company. Additionally, you will collaborate with external vendors and services as required.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ownership and management of the maintenance and calibration schedule of equipment, include uploading of documentation to the quality management system.
  • Liaising with vendors for equipment supplies and repairs.
  • Manage the installation of new equipment ensuring all documentation is stored appropriately and training is arranged.
  • Contribute to the LEX HSamp;E and report into quarterly meetings.
  • Conducting regular facility inspection to ensure compliance including risk assessments and training records.
  • Coordinate PAT testing and ensure records are maintained.
  • Ensure appropriate waste disposal and recycling is arranged and documented.
  • Highlight changes to regulatory requirements and where appropriate suggest recommendations for improvements.
  • Oversee the regular maintenance of lab environmental controls, compressed air supplies and process equipment and where necessary ensure validation is completed

Requirements

Following skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience preferably within a regulated environment.
  • Proficient knowledge of facilities management operations.
  • An understanding of best practise for working in bio labs and cleanrooms.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Prior experience managing or working in ISO13485 facilities.
  • Experience with an electronic Quality Management System (QMS).
