Job Description:As our Product Design Technician, you'll be at the forefront of crafting the next generation of wooden garden buildings, from conceptualisation to the factory floor. You will provide technical support to the design team, including creating CAD drawings, preparing design documents, and assisting with prototype development.
Daily Tasks:
- Produce detailed technical drawings and 3D models for new and existing products.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve design-related manufacturing challenges.
- Participate in design review meetings, contributing technical insights and solutions.
- Assist in the testing and evaluation of prototypes, documenting results and suggesting improvements.
Long-Term Goals:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Kybotech's product range and design standards.
- Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge of design and manufacturing technologies.

Requirements
- Proven experience in product design, ideally with consumer and wooden products.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, ideally within an in-house factory setting.
- Proficient in CAD Software, ideally SolidWorks and SketchUp or equivalent packages.
- Demonstrated success in product launches, notably in roles requiring minimal supervision and direct collaboration.
- 2+ years relevant experience in a product design or development type role
