PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer who is excited by building and maintaining scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions that can truly make a difference to our business. You will have a proven track record of working with Salesforce technologies and developing complex applications within the platform.
You will join our dynamic Salesforce development team that is responsible for architecting, building, and supporting our Operational IT systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize solutions that align with business objectives and provide excellent customer experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop customized solutions within Salesforce platform, including Apex rest service, Apex triggers, batch jobs, Lightning Web Components and integrations.
- Collaborate with product managers and business analysts to design technical solutions that meet requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation of technical designs, technical architecture, and deployment plans.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and development techniques in line with agreed patterns and procedures.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Requirements
Core Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing and customizing Salesforce applications.
- Strong knowledge of Apex programming language, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications.
Apex
- 2-3yrs+ Apex Enterprise Design Patterns.
Domain, Selector, Service amp; Unit of Work or similar design patterns for separation of concerns. Proven experience implementing from the ground up, and retro-fitting into existing code using standard patterns. - 2-3yrs+ Apex Mocks, Mockito or similar mocking framework.
Proven experience writing Apex unit tests using mocking, which will run as part of CI/CD pipeline. - 2-3yrs+ writing custom Rest Resources with RESTful APIs to support complex integration with 3rd party systems.
- 2-3yrs+ writing custom Apex callouts to integrate with 3rd party systems via RESTful services.
- Understanding of async Apex processing (Future vs Queueable vs Batchable vs Platform Events), limitations of each and when to apply
Lightning Web Components
- 2-3yrs+ writing custom Lightning Web Components, using Salesforce's latest front-end frameworks for building complex user interface components
- Understanding of Lightning Design System, and how to apply to custom components
- Experience working with integrations and data migration between Salesforce and other systems.
- Knowledge of Salesforce best practices for application design, security, performance, and scalability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Aura Components
- Experience of using Aura components to wrap LWC to provide complex functionality
Visualforce
- Understanding of using Visualforce pages to wrap LWC to provide complex functionality
