Your Impact
Lead an elite development team of 8 Software Engineers as our Engineering Manager, shaping the technological backbone of our massively multiplayer open world and leaving an enduring legacy on the long-term growth of each team member. Your strategic vision and leadership will shape innovative solutions to our technical challenges, and through coaching, our developers will reach their full potential.
Day-to-Day
- Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to the engineering team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence, empowering team members to reach new heights of creativity and productivity.
- Oversee the end-to-end development process, from ideation to deployment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimising development processes and tools to enhance self-sufficiency and velocity.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate game design loops into technical specifications.
Requirements
- Experience with Nodejs amp; Typescript in a backend position.
- Proven track record of leadership in a technical role, ideally within the gaming industry.
- Deep understanding of game development principles and technologies, with hands-on experience in game engine architecture and development.
- Th ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their full potential.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset, with a focus on driving innovation and delivering results.
