The Company

Wattbike is a rapidly growing brand known for its innovative indoor cycling products. Wattbike is used by top sports teams and athletes around the world, as well as fitness enthusiasts of all levels, who are dedicated to improving their performance and health. We are seeking a B2B Marketing Executive to join our team to plan and execute marketing activities to meet the requirements of the B2B marketing strategy and overall Wattbike brand goals.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week working from the office at Wilford, Nottingham.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • Work with CRM Senior Exec to plan, create, and send all B2B email communications, including automated journeys for distributors, prospective and existing customers, using advanced CRM tools.
  • Maintain excellent communication with BDMs and Distributors to create pre-planned and reactive global content for the website, ensuring a multilingual approach where necessary.
  • Work alongside PR consultants and agencies to develop ideas and source content to support PR activity, incorporating market research and analysis to inform strategies.
  • Support distributors/retailers in developing amp; executing marketing plans, setting up and reviewing KPIs with a focus on strategic planning and budget management.
  • Generate content for the B2B news page on the website, ensuring innovative and creative content creation.
  • Source and write commercial/B2B marketing copy for website, marketing materials, social media, and any additional documents, demonstrating strong copywriting skills.
  • Support Product and Ops team with B2B document creation, identifying opportunities to create materials and assets.
  • Coordinate ordering and monitor stock levels of all marketing materials.
  • Organise trade shows and customer events, including webinars/online events, attending shows where required, which includes venue planning, logistics, travel, asset creation, budget management, liaising with suppliers and third parties, and overall responsibility for event delivery.
  • Manage the content and be the gatekeeper of the Distributor Marketing Drive to ensure documents are up to date.
  • Act as the first contact point for all marketing requests from Distributors.
  • Conduct research to support the continuous improvement of marketing materials, emails, POS, product supporting documents.
  • Manage all B2B specific design briefs and work with the creative team to ensure the output meets the requirements of the brief.
  • Plan, organise, and execute B2B-specific photo and video shoots, demonstrating technological savvy and adaptability.
  • Work alongside DTC colleagues as required to support cross-channel demand between B2B and DTC businesses.

Requirements

Experience and skills

  • Experience in a marketing role would be useful but graduates would be considered
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software and email marketing tools.
  • Previous involvement in organizing and managing events and trade shows.
  • Digital Marketing Skills: Demonstrated skills in digital marketing, including knowledge of current trends and best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Copywriting: Strong copywriting skills for a variety of platforms including web, social media, and print.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct market research and analyse data to inform marketing strategies.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Event Management: Experience in planning and executing events, with attention to detail.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Creative thinking and innovative approach to marketing.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with technology, adept at learning new software and tools.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various departments and external partners.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to change, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Graphic Design: Experience of using Photoshop, InDesign and other design platforms would be beneficial but not essential.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel for events and trade shows as required.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends for events or deadlines.
