We are currently seeking a Product Sales Specialist to join a well-established Assistive Equipment provider.
Product Specialists are the face of the Company, ensuring that clients are getting the best products and the best value for money. In this role you will work closely with Occupational Therapists and alike to provide on going support and solutions to end users on clinical seating and specialist beds.
This role involves daily/regular travel across Scotland and North of England. It is an exciting opportunity for a consultative sales professional who enjoys being customer facing and providing solutions for products that truly make a difference.
Key responsibilities, duties and tasks
- Carry out assessments across the North of England via home visits, care homes or hospitals to end users/patients in support of Occupational Therapists or Physiotherapists
- Provide consultative sales advice on product solutions suited to the patients needs
- Carry out demonstration/training sessions to industry professionals
- Managing your diary to facilitate client visits and assessments
- Managing the stock you hold to facilitate scheduled jobs in your diary
- Completing required administrative work, including following up on quotations and recording assessment outcomes.
- Ensure that all clients are receiving an excellent level of customer service
- Maximise sales activity by supporting the sales team
- Participate in product development - taking and providing feedback to aid the launch of new products
- Adhere to relevant quality and regulatory requirements at all times
The role will also involve regular manual handling of large demo equipment
Requirements
- Consultative customer facing sales experience - ideally in a clinical or healthcare setting
- Strong communication (oral and written) and numeracy skills
- Effective and confident telephone skills
- Attention to detail and compliance with company systems and processes
- Flexibility dealing with multiple and varying duties
- Positive, compassionate, empathetic nature with genuine desire to help people
- Experience using CRM systems to record activity
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Prepared to stay overnight in hotels as necessary for maximum travel efficiency - and flexibility in working hours to meet needs of clients.
- Able to pass a basic DBC check
