Scanning Pens, the trailblazer in assistive reading technology, is on the lookout for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our stellar team!

As our Business Development Manager for the Vulnerable Adult Sector, you'll drive the business development and sales of assistive reading technology and shape the future of vulnerable adults in the UK by building long-term relationships with

  • Adult Education training providers / Job Centres / Work-based Learning Support
  • HMPPS amp; Private Prisons - both as a service provider and as employer
  • Young Offenders (YO and HM YOI)
  • Those not in employment, education or training (NEET)

Responsibilities

Once you get to know our product, your playground will be to:

    • Ignite growth by sourcing new business opportunities and training partnerships
    • Exceed targets and be the driving force behind this Sector's success
    • Work with existing training partners to drive awareness
    • Offer exceptional Customer Support and be the hero our clients deserve
    • Cultivate meaningful relationships within the vulnerable adult sectors, to deliver exceptional service that leaves a lasting impact
    • Sourcing new business opportunities and partnerships
    • Organise potential sales leads and actively follow-up with a mixture of visits, phone calls, training webinars, emails and social media. Your goal? Setting up free trials, quotes and making the sales orders rain!
    • Partner with your leader, the UK Country Manager, on a journey of sales and training activities visits, phone calls, emails, trade shows, tie-ins, and dynamic training sessions
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective business strategies
    • Dive into market research and analysis, uncovering trends and opportunities that keep us ahead of the game.
    • Be a Company Ambassador by representing us with pride at industry events and conferences

Benefits
