The Private Credit team offers privately-negotiated senior secured and unitranche loans to established European companies as well as capital solutions to established European and US medium and large companies. This includes providing primary junior capital (mezzanine, PIK and preferred equity) to good quality companies and in periods of dislocation, investing in attractive secondary opportunities.

Job DescriptionRole

This is a 6 month internship from 1 July 2024 - 20 December 2024.

As a Junior Analyst Intern in the Portfolio Management function within Private Credit team,, you will be involved in:

· Assisting with ongoing monitoring and complex analysis of portfolio assets, including:

o Reviewing monthly/quarterly/annual operating statements/budgets and maintaining internal reporting of financial performance

o Contributing to quarterly fund valuations and reporting to investors, and

o Providing analytics for internal and external use.

· Conducting detailed business due diligence on existing portfolio companies;

· Supporting the team in developing operating and financial forecast models and preparing investment memos for CVC’s investment committee.

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

· 6-12 months of relevant work experience/prior internships. Candidates with prior experience in credit funds, debt advisory, private equity, investment banking incl. Mamp;A, leveraged finance and corporate finance, restructuring or restructuring or portfolio management are preferred;

· Candidates due to graduate from a master’s degree (or equivalent) from a leading university, with a minimum grade 2:1 (or equivalent);

· Full professional proficiency in English is required. Additional European languages are preferred;

· Knowledge of financial analysis and accounting;

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team; actively seeking out new areas of responsibility;

· Excellent analytical, problem solving, presentation, communication, and writing skills;

· Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
