We are looking for a Stores Assistant to join our friendly and professional team, at Guildford Spectrum. You will providing support to our catering service, receiving goods from delivers and ensuring they are stored away correctly whilst following our Health and Safety and Food standards.

Re-stocking all of our outlets, preparing food and restocking vending machines. Ensuring our stores unit is kept in a presentable and tidy manor, completing stock rotation and stock takes. You will be delivering excellent customer service at all times. Ideally you will be a genuine team player, able to work off your own initiative and be enthusiastic and motivated. Hours: 24 hours a week, Monday to Sunday (Rota basis)

Requirements

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Experience of working in a stores or warehouse
• Experience and understanding of FIFO
• Experience of managing a varied workload
• The skill to establish and maintain key relationships swiftly and appropriately.
• An ability to analyse problems, situations and information, think laterally and present creative solutions
• Knowledge of food hygiene regulations
• Awareness of cost-effective methods of working
• Drive and energy to enthuse the staff they are working with
• Team orientated approach, able to work across organization boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of colleagues.
