The Sewell Handyperson will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities look world class at all times, across a number of our Sewell onthego sites. Reporting to the relevant Operations Manager, Site Manager and Supervisor, they are responsible for cleaning and maintenance of the forecourt, site compounds and general site area.
Hours of work: 18 hours per week
Thursday, Friday amp; Saturday, 7:30am - 13:30pm (4 hours at Chanterlands, 2 hours at Cottingham)
Site Locations: Cottingham and Chanterlands
Closing Date - 5 March 2024
Key Responsibilities:
- World-class standards and appearance of the site, particularly in respect of the external area, pumps and entrances to the store
- Ensuring the pump islands, units, hoses and handles are cleaned on a daily basis, to world-class standards
- Ensuring the pump islands are fully stocked with gloves, paper towels, fire bucket/sand and bucket/sponge for windscreens
- Looking after external seasonal stock, such as watering bedding plants
- Restocking external displays, such as screenwash, coal etc.
- Emptying and cleaning the bins on a daily basis
- Ensuring all litter and graffiti is removed throughout the site
- Ensure all windows are cleaned outside and clear of unauthorised stickers, and all window ledges are cleaned at least once per week
- Cleaning all poster boards and promotional signs on a daily basis and replacing posters when requested
- Ensuring the jetwash and car valeting areas are cleaned and emptied of money/tokens on a daily basis
- Ensuring all locks to the tanks and vapour recovery unit are cleaned and greased on a weekly basis
- General maintenance on site as requested by the Site Manager/Supervisor
- Providing cover on other close sites for holiday and sickness absencer
