Reporting into the Product Lead for Ops Automation, AI amp; Self Service, we are looking for someone with strong experience as a Product Manager in an Agile environment to build products that enable ClearBank to efficiently scale without additional headcount, whilst maintaining our high level of customer service.

As the Product Manager you will be the driving force for ensuring that the product design, phasing and roll-out are aligned to ClearBank’s overall strategic vision and deliver tangible customer benefits, whilst complying with all relevant regulation and legislation.

Product Areas Being Recruited For

  • Internal amp; Client Facing Portals
  • Case Management amp; Onboarding

You will work closely with cross functional scrum teams to define, prioritise and build ClearBank’s operational functionality. As the Product Manager will also liaise closely with stakeholders across multiple areas of the business including Operational SMEs to design a product that balances the many competing needs of the business and clients, with effective risk management. The role will drive the implementation of key capabilities within the organisation to ensure that all functional areas are operationally ready to support live and future prospect clients.

You will lead and own your product. You will work with the Product Lead to form a product vision, strategy and a commercially focussed roadmap.

About you

Ideally you will need to be passionate about building products and leading the way to promote a product led culture. You will have worked in the fintech industry, ideally within a payments area of product and have an art to describing core problems, telling the story of what we should work on and why, as opposed to being feature driven.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and evangelise a powerful product vision and strategy for their product areas which enables ClearBank to scale and grow
  • Set clear annual objectives and track progress through quarterly key results
  • Create Product epics, features and PBI that enable Scrum Teams to deliver value iteratively
  • Lead product working groups to ensure that all your stakeholders are aligned with your planning and progress
  • Champion your product area with your engineering partner and SME stakeholders
  • Devise product roadmaps and budgets in conjunction with the Product Lead, owning individual items, to achieve the overall product vision and goals
  • Work closely with cross functional teams, understanding the problems to solve and the reasons why
  • Lead multi-departmental requirements workshops, ensuring that each workshop clearly articulates the desired outcomes and facilitate the workshop in such a way to ensure that the outcomes are met
  • Ensure the Operating Models and existing processes are fully updated and aligned to the functionality of your product by coordinating relevant activities
  • Liaise closely with ClearBank’s customers to run collaborative workshops with the aim of understanding Customer needs and demonstrating the ability to embed real-life use cases within the overall product design
  • Stay up to date with the market news and trends, feeding them into your product design
  • Manage competing demands from within ClearBank and effectively prioritise the work in a fast-moving environment
  • Manage risk effectively as the product is designed, working with key stakeholders and governance to match the bank’s appetite to risk prior to launching products.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar Product role, focused on delivering fintech products
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform would be very advantageous
  • Experience delivering front-end solutions in a B2B or B2C environment
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and innovative idea generation
  • Great time-management and ability to meet deadlines
