Job Description
Working hours and Pay: Typically, Monday Friday 8am to 5pm, door to door payment, with much greater potential for generously paid overtime and discretionary bonus scheme.
Salary: 28k-35k and dependent on experience. This role will cover the South East and London area
As a Remedial Plumber, you will be involved in the servicing and maintenance of all types of systems and water treatment equipment.
This may include responsibilities such as:
o Acid descales
o Flushing / chlorination of buildings/ pipework (closed circuits)
o Plumbing tasks, Deadleg removal/flexible hose removal etc.
o Tank Cleaning and chlorination works
o Filtration service and install
o TMV service and replacement
o Cooling tower clean and service
o Dosing systems service and install
o Internal calorifier inspection
o Endoscopic inspection
o Injection pipework chlorination works
o Copper /silver ionisation works
o Closed circuit flushing and dosing
o Media Changes
o Solid dosing installs and commissioning
o Service, install and commissioning odd specialist one off systems
o Electrical installs (only by accredited personnel)
o RPZ service work and install (only by accredited personnel)
o Some water hygiene monitoring and sampling
Requirements
You will have experience of ACoP L8 (Legionnaires) and water safety standards. You will work within the guidance provided by HSG 274 and ideally hold a level 2 plumbing qualification. Demonstrate behaviours in line with our company values : Respect, Accountability, Reliability amp; Integrity.
