Senior Data Platform Owner

Job Description
As a Senior Data Platform Owner, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and utilisation of the data platform. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the platform is catering to the needs of the organisation and is aligned with the company's strategic goals.
Data Management and Development/Product Liaison Duties:
• Oversee and manage the development and maintenance of the data platform
• Collaborate with various teams to understand their data needs and ensure the platform meets these needs
• Align the data platform with the strategic goals of the company
• Create and enforce data governance policies and procedures
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations
• Drive the adoption of the data platform across the organisation
• Work with data engineers and architects to optimise data platform performance
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data management and incorporate them as necessary
• Provide leadership and guidance to the data platform team
Additional Duties:
• Supervise Data Analysts in performing their daily task
• Point person for data intensive investigations for other departments and partners
• Monitor and rectify reporting and data issues
• Update/maintain data in ancillary systems and reports liaise with development teams to ensure data integrity between systems
• Run additional daily procedures (data related manual refunds, has debt) for ops teams
• Run additional weekly procedures (fleet update, Enterprise Unit costing)
• Work with Ops team to generate appropriate processes based on data points from both Whocanfixmycar.com systems and ancillary systems (Zoho)
• Control and update/report on users of data reports in various systems including -Metabase, Zoho, Database Access Portals etc.
• Develop and maintain and report on Business KPI in association with other departments and their KPI requirements.
Requirements
Extensive experience in data management, data governance, and platform development. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with various teams are crucial for this role
