Due to continued growth within the Defence Business Unit we are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity.
We are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated person to help us build on strong growth in the Joint, Secure Government and Land Business Group (JSL), by taking over and leading the existing business for Defence Digital sector as the Business Manager.
The successful candidate will direct the strategy and lead the business for Defence Digital across a wide range of clients. Delivery in this sector uses a hybrid model and includes large, established delivery streams. The BM will need to build on and around these programmes to assure growth of the sector.
The role is summarised below:
• Contribute to the strategy of the JSL Business Group, responsible for the Defence Digital sector vision, strategy and 5 year plan;
• Influence the development of Frazer-Nash’s services towards the needs of the Defence Digital market;
• Hold overall responsibility for Defence Digital sector campaign budget and planning;
• Continuing to build, develop and maintain a network of clients;
• Identify, characterise and capture opportunities to deliver the business growth;
• Support internal delivery and maintain profitability across a portfolio of projects.
Location is flexible, but with the client engagement focus in the South and West England, the Defence Digital Business Manager is likely to typically need to spend up to 2/3 days per week in the West/Bristol for client engagement.

Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
• A background in MOD C5ISTAR, either within the Ministry of Defence or at a senior level within the wider industrial community, preferably with Defence Digital experience;
• Proven strong customer relationship management skills, an established set of contacts and a good reputation in the Defence community;
• An established track record of successful strategic thinking, business development, capture planning and delivery in a relevant environment;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Ability to work to challenging timeframes and under pressure;
• Commercially aware, and capable of guiding bids and projects;
• Good leadership skills, with the ability to motivate individuals and teams across the business.
