Job Description

At Plum, we're on a mission to maximise wealth for all. We’re making saving money effortless and turning investing into something everyone can do. Our journey began back in 2017, when we became one of the first to use artificial intelligence and automation to simplify personal finance. Fast forward to today, and we've already helped people save 2 billion across 10 European markets.

Named the UK's fastest-growing fintech in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, our success is down to the passion and dedication of our diverse team. Based in our London, Athens and Nicosia offices, 170 talented people work together to empower people to do more with their money. And now, the team is growing!

The role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join Plum in the London office. You’ll be expected to deeply understand how users think about money, build features that align to Plum's strategy and vision, to help our customers achieve their wealth goals and to solve customer problems.

This role will take on User Onboarding and Activation for our product and will drive strategy and experience for it. Your goal is to enable people to do more with their money!

Ideally You Will

  • Drive user onboarding initiatives aimed at enhancing user experience, increasing user activation, and improving overall conversion rates.
  • Work with a team of talented product-minded engineers to achieve a common growth goal.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, marketing, customer support and compliance to ensure seamless user journeys
  • Conduct market and competitor research to ensure Plum has a market leading product.
  • Utilise analytics tools such as Mixpanel or similar platforms, to analyse user behaviour, identify pain points, and optimise conversion funnels.
  • Conduct A/B testing and user research to iterate and improve the onboarding and activation processes continually.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track metrics to measure effectiveness.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to prioritise features and enhancements based on user feedback, business goals, and market trends.
  • Champion a user-centric approach throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring that user needs and preferences are at the forefront of decision-making.

Ideally You

  • Have demonstrated success in managing mobile app products within a B2C environment, with a focus on developing and implementing successful user onboarding and activation strategies that drive engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Are strongly proficient in optimising user funnels and conversion rates within mobile apps, leveraging data-driven insights, experimentation techniques and connecting the dot that enable you to make step changes in the product.
  • Are able to manage a team of engineers, speak their language and are able to constructively challenge them to drive impact.
  • Are able to transmit your enthusiasm to your team and make sure you are all working effectively towards your goal.
  • Have experience in working with products that cater to users in multiple countries, understanding the nuances of localization, cultural differences, and regulatory requirements.
  • Have familiarity with relevant technologies and tools used in the mobile app ecosystem, including but not limited to app analytics platforms, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, effectively communicating product requirements, priorities, and timelines.
  • Have knowledge of industry-standard compliance and security practices within the Fintech sector, ensuring that products adhere to regulatory standards and protect user data.
  • Have a proactive mindset with a passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional user experiences in a competitive market landscape.
  • Have excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts, influence stakeholders, and build consensus across diverse teams and geographies.
