Job Description

The Category Marketing team helps shape the global category and marketing strategy for the Rentokil, Initial and Ambius brands and supports over 80 businesses globally with combined revenue of over 2bn, responding to customer needs, trends and drivers in key industry sectors. The team supports regional and country businesses by launching new innovations, range extensions and by developing targeted campaigns that help build brand leadership via on and offline channels. The Category Marketing team is also the key facilitator of best practice sharing, creating solution launch toolkits and working closely with the product and service innovation teams to develop and enhance product and service propositions for the markets.

Main Purpose of role:

The Communications Marketing Executive will help the development and deployment of communication materials that support the mobilisation of our teams, within Mamp;I and across the broader business. This will require a focus on the creation and communication of the right materials to regional and country business teams that can be adopted to support organic growth initiatives. Beyond that it will also support the communication and engagement of other group colleagues on key Mamp;I growth initiatives, ensuring the key stakeholders are informed and engaged.

The role holder will work closely with teams across the Marketing amp; Innovation function, as well as local marketing amp; sales teams across the globe to support the delivery of marketing content.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Communication and management of marketing materials to all parts of the business to support front line growth initiatives

Market communication planning to ensure timely delivery of campaign, toolkits, brand guidelines and content updates to all key stakeholders across the business

Creation of regular category updates to internal stakeholders

Support for annual marketing planning at an Mamp;I and group level

Coordination and creation of weekly Mamp;I bulletin

Collation of content and presenters for internal Village Halls

Communicate regularly and concisely with target internal audiences

Facilitate the internal communication platform that will be adopted by the function to maintain connectivity across colleagues

Maximise different channels and media in order to increase engagement and uptake of marketing initiatives across the business

Requirements

1 years minimum experience in a marketing role or similar

A good understanding of the marketing mix

Strong communication skills

Experience with Mailchimp or Hubspot

Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and external agencies

A clear and concise written and verbal communicator

High levels of attention to detail and an enjoyment of seeing projects through to completion and implementation

Proactive, highly organised with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Excellent time management skills, with ability to organise and prioritise work.

Confident in collating presentation material together and using relevant software.

Comfortable collaborating and working as part of a team.

Desire to create a long term career in marketing

2:1 Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or management study preferred (or equivalent experience).

A second language is highly desirable.
