Reporting to Education Director, the Programme Manager will be responsible for Independent and International school sector. The Programme Manager will play a significant role in delivering the National College strategic plan, its mission and vision. They will drive development of a specific phase through cross-team collaboration, managing data and insights to facilitate membership growth and retention. This role is focused on the development, delivery and launch of innovative and progressive products for the National College.

Requirements

  • Work closely with the Education Director and the Head of Research and Content to identify ‘hot topics’ within your designated programme areas.
  • Drawing on your experience, develop a monthly programme of competitive webinars across your designated topic areas.
  • Maintain control over your programme areas and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the existing offer.
  • Oversee, analyse and drive forward success indicators within your designated setting area.
  • Play an active role in developing CPD in new formats, i.e. guides, lesson plans, etc.
  • Work closely with the Content and Production teams to make sure they receive comprehensive and timely briefings.
  • Provide support and guidance to the Marketing team in launching new webinars/courses and campaigns.
  • Take part in market engagement events, attend conferences, events and exhibitions.
  • Foster strong links and relationships with experts, subject associations, research institutions and charities to boost credibility of your programme areas.
  • Reach out to members through regular communication campaigns, meetings, feedback and data to make sure your programme areas meet their CPD needs.
  • Take responsibility for the quality assurance of webinars, courses and written materials, including the due diligence of sources.
  • Project manage webinar and course development from conception to release on the platform.
  • Attend recordings with experts when required.
  • Establish strong cross-team links with Sales, Membership and Customer Support teams.
  • Gather and provide intelligence and data which supports the successful development of your designated area. 
  • Take part in administering the platform, content curation and miscellaneous document updates.
  • The position requires the post holder to be flexible to attend events, recordings and support production deadlines.

Essential

  • Strong knowledge of the Education Sector and experience working in independent schools.
  • Educated to a degree level.
  • Understanding of the educational landscape, curriculum, and professional development needs of educators.
  • Strong analytical skills to oversee and drive success indicators within the designated setting area.
  • Drive to continuously explore new topical areas and develop professional knowledge within the designated programme areas.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Membership, and Customer Support
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience in developing various forms of educational content, such as guides, lesson plans, and webinars.
  • Ability to develop ad-hoc webinars in response to important updates and guidance documents from government agencies and educational bodies.
  • Ability to undertake research and convert complex subjects into easy to understand learning for a targeted audience
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for content curation, platform administration, and data analysis
  • Strong knowledge and experience working in international schools.
