Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-drivenBusiness Development professional, to join a rapidly growing SME family run business, based in Chelmsford. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growthand generating new sales opportunities through telemarketing (and other avenues) initially, with a view to progress into face to face meetings with clients in the future.

Your main objective will be to contact potential clients andpersuade them to make a purchase or schedule a meeting with the sales team. You will need excellent communication and persuasion skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced andtarget-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to potential clients, getting key information (like names and emails of key contacts) and introduce the products or services
  • Identify and qualify leads through effective questioning and listening techniques
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients
  • Follow up on leads and schedule appointments for the sales team
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Track and report on sales activities and outcomes
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospects and clients.
  • Face to face visits in the future

Requirements

  • Proven experience in telemarketing or sales role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-driven mindset and strong ability to meet or exceed targets
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or marketing is a plus. (not essential)
  • Eye for detail
  • Experience within the PPE / Workwear industry would be beneficial but not essential

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
