Job Description

Limbic’s vision is to ensure the highest quality therapy is accessible to everyone, everywhere. Limbic is already used in over 30% of Talking Therapies in the NHS and is deemed safe and effective after successfully gaining UKCA Class IIa certification, the only AI mental health decision support tool to do so.

As Limbic’s first Information Security Specialist, you will take ownership of Limbic’s Information Security Management System to support the expansion of our world-leading AI medical devices. You’ll be working cross departmentally to ensure Limbic retains its position as the most accredited and trusted mental health technology on the market.

What you’ll be doing at Limbic:
  • Managing Limbic’s information security management system and certifications (eg. ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, HIPAA) from the day-to-day procedures to auditing, training and monitoring
  • Being the go-to information security expert for the team and maintaining a proactive culture for regulatory and compliance excellence with respect to data security and information governance
  • Serving as our information security champion working closely with our mental health services to support procurement, implementation and customer success
  • Iterating on and improving our information security management system processes as the company scales
  • Identify and implement new information security standards to support market expansion
  • Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, methodologies, standards and appropriate regulatory frameworks

Requirements

Who you are:
  • Detail oriented and well versed in compliance processes of auditing, reviews and continuous improvement
  • Experienced in managing information security standards, such as ISO 27001 and HIPAA
  • Highly organised, able to create clear project plans, juggle priorities and drive work forward cross-functionally
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, adaptability, and a willingness to take on new challenges
  • Comfortable with uncertainty and the unknown
  • Your default is to use data to problem solve and craft scalable compliance systems
