Infotel UK is a reputable and dynamic technology consulting company, specializing in providing innovative IT solutions to businesses. We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst at Infotel UK, you will play a vital role in understanding and analyzing our clients' business needs, and translating them into effective IT solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team of talented professionals.
Please be aware this is hybrid position, 3 days in office and 2 days work from home however in the first 3 months you are required in the office full time.
At present we do not offer sponsorship for employees or individuals that will require sponsorship in the future. You are required to be security cleared, meaning you need to have been a UK resident fora minimum of 3 years.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs.
- Analyze and evaluate existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Create detailed functional specifications and user stories based on the requirements gathered.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of new systems or functionalities to ensure they meet the business requirements.
- Provide support and guidance to end-users during the implementation and post-implementation phases.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually enhance business analysis processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the IT industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and frameworks.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are a plus.
