We’re a growing team of like-minded and supportive people with the goal of making customer service a seamless experience. Our team is remote with colleagues based in the UK, US and Europe.
We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer to join the product team at DigitalGenius who will help us test our products and maintain the highest quality standards for our customers. You’ll be responsible for expanding the company's testing capability and help ensure we ship bug free code.
Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in defining and implementing our test automation strategy
- Provide substantial input into overall test processes and life cycles
- Focused manual testing of new features and bug fixes across our product landscape
- Exploratory testing of existing products
- Expanding and maintaining automated testing libraries
- Own processes we have with external QA providers/services
Requirements
- Degree in relevant field with 5+ years of industry experience
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
- History of working with JS Automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, or similar
- Strong experience with manual and exploratory testing
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript and Typescript
- Good experience in version control tools such as GIT and GitHub
- Experience and understanding of CI/CD
- Understanding of various testing methodologies and categories.
- Ability to effectively interact with Team Leader, fellow team members and product stakeholders.
- Worked in an agile environment with a good understanding of agile processes (Kanban)
- Experience with testing software for accessibility issues (WCAG)
- Openness to trying new technologies and solutions
- Experience with visual regression testing
- Familiarity with and ideally experience testing against security best practices (OWASP)
