We have an exciting opportunity for a Training and Development Manager to join Norgine. The person holding this position will report to the VP Manufacturing Operations and be a member of the Manufacturing amp; Supply department.

The core responsibility of the of the Training and Development Manager is to manage all aspects of training and development within our factory based operations teams, including identification, development and delivery of appropriate Training and assessment interventions to build capabilities and competence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES amp; ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Work with the key functional heads to devise a specific training needs analysis based on Organisational data, including but not limited to, Business Unit Objectives, Site requirements, Performance Development Review data, Legislation and key business projects.
  • Liaise with the functional head and wider operations team to build the site(s) strategic plan based on the Training Needs Analysis; reflecting the needs of the organisation
  • Work closely with site leadership teams and key managers / stakeholders to ensure appropriate guidance, support and advice is provided to support organisational, departmental and individual objectives.
  • Review Operations site strategy and provide advice and guidance to key stakeholders in regard to future proofing of staff skills.
  • Manage specific Mamp;S / Operations initiatives and interventions to ensure alignment with the key Norgine Competencies and desired behaviours of the organisation
  • Monitor strategic effectiveness of Training interventions with a view to continually improve offerings and returns.
  • Continue to develop new and existing Training interventions, including but not limited to Compliance Programmes / Continuous Improvement / Team development / Change Management etc.
  • Support Site Leadership Teams and as required through expertise, facilitated workshops and team coaching activities.

Requirements

SKILLS amp; KNOWLEDGE

  • We are looking for someone who is passionate about training and development.
  • Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Qualified (or in country equivalent).
  • Understanding / accredited psychometrics advantageous.
  • Working with our site-based teams to design and implement the training programmes to support our journey to Operational Excellence.
  • Have the freedom to shape the training and development programme.
  • Build a high performing Training and development team to support the site.
  • Be motivated to challenge the routine and drive Continuous Improvement in Training and Development.
  • Ability to lead by example from the front in setting a high performance culture.
