LOCATION: Security Guard
LOCATION: Mapp 110 Queen street, Glasgow, G1 3BX
SHIFT PATTERN: roster of days and nightshifts, 48 hours per week
PAY RATE: 11.42 per hour
An opportunity has arisen for a Security Guard to join ABM UK, a leading security services company.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a security presence and contact for customers and staff
- Detering anti-social behavior, theft, and criminal activity
- Liaising with the police and management when required
- Completing reports on observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
- Handling difficult situations in a safe and professional manner
- Assisting with the proactive management of the Security Team and cleaning team
- Ensuring compliance with site operating procedures
- Maintaining high standards of customer service
- Assisting with other duties as requested by the Security Manager or the center management
Requirements
- DS licence essential. CCTV desirable.
• A full five-year checkable employment / education history
• Experience in corporate / retail security is desirable
• Experience in customer service is desirable
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Computer skills, including basic knowledge of MS Office
• Valid First Aid at Work certificate
• Well presented, with high grooming standards
• Outgoing and friendly with a can-do attitude
• Reliable and punctual
