Job Description

We are looking for an Application Support Technician to maintain and improve our application suite, including Jira, Confluence and Kanbanize.

Joining a community of specialists that work across our four studios, they’ll be responsible for supporting these apps for the whole business. They will empower our producers and developers to be more informed, organised and collaborative so they can continue to develop world-class VR games titles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keeping our Jira, Confluence, Kanbanize etc. systems in top shape, managing user permissions, project configurations, workflows and templates.
  • Diagnosing and resolving any application-related issues that arise, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Continuously improving and upgrading our workflows and systems to meet the evolving needs of our project teams.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation, training users, and serving as the point of contact for all application support queries.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders from all disciplines to ensure that our tools are fit for world-class VR game production.

Requirements

Who are we looking for?

Essential capabilities

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role, with a track record of effectively managing Jira in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Atlassian product suite, with certification being a huge plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with an open and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and organize your own work, based on feedback from stakeholders.
  • Clear and friendly communication style, equally able to discuss technical, creative and people-focused challenges.

Desired experience

  • Experience working in the games or other creative industries (e.g. film, VFX or immersive advertising).
  • Experience/certification working with agile methodologies such as Kanban, Scrum, etc.
