Your role:
As the Commercial Finance Manager, You will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our product portfolio, pricing strategies, planning processes, and promotional activities. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and the brand senior leadership team, you will support with driving profitability and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the financial analysis and modelling efforts related to product pricing, profitability, and promotions.
- Developing and implementing pricing strategies that align with market trends, competitive intelligence, and business objectives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, manage the product lifecycle, and support new product launches.
- Conducting financial analysis to support product planning, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
- Monitoring and evaluating promotional activities to measure their effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
- Presenting financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership and non-financial stakeholders.
- Staying updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Constantly reviewing our supplier list and stock intake, to measure the impact of lateness from suppliers and margin hits to our Pamp;L.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- CIMA or ACCA qualified.
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Proven experience in pricing strategies, market analysis, and competitive intelligence.
- Deep understanding of product management principles and practices
- Familiarity with promotional activities, campaign analysis, and ROI measurement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams
