About the role
Reporting to our Content Manager, we’re now looking for a Marketing Copywriter to help us scale the business through a new stage of growth. We have an awesome team, an engaged customer community and ambitious growth plans.
This role is based at our London office in Holborn, offering work-from-home flexibility.
Some of what you’ll do
- Create long form and short form content that’s super-helpful for founders and investors, such as guides (ebooks, checklists, reports), blog articles, emails, social media posts, case studies, product landing pages and ad campaign copy
- Optimise content for SEO and conversions, following our in-house guidelines
- Write copy for video scripts - turning technical into exciting (TikTok shorts)
- Review and edit writing by colleagues as required
- Work with teams across the company (Legal, CX, Product, Sales, Data, Design) to refine briefs and create high-performing content for different products and channels
- Effectively manage workload and projects, using our content tracking system (Trello)
- Propose and test new tools (eg AI) to scale, support and improve
- Be an advocate for our brand and ensure all content aligns with our brand tone of voice
- Bring fresh ideas and creativity to raise the bar
- Share knowledge across departments, eg running training sessions
Requirements
This role is for you if you are:
- an experienced writer with excellent written English and communication skills
- an expert in simplifying complex information and making it engaging
- great at writing to achieve commercial goals
- experienced in applying SEO best practices to your work
- able to challenge and refine briefs, give and receive feedback
- confident working in a fast-paced environment
- customer-focused and obsessed with clarity and accuracy
- familiar with SEO tools such as SEMrush and conducting keyword research and competitor analysis
- knowledgeable about the startup ecosystem (funding rounds, cap tables amp; share option schemes)
- enthusiastic about entrepreneurship
Nice to have but not essential:
- experience using WordPress
- experience with Notion and Figma is a plus
- background in tech startups, law, financial services, technical writing
A requirement for this application to be successful will be to submit your portfolio and highlight work most relevant to this role.
