We are looking for an Operations Executive within the KYC to work as part of a sociable, busy team managing our customer operations. Operations sits at the heart of the company so you’ll get to see how the whole business works and fits together.
You will work with a variety of enterprise technology platforms and YouLend proprietary solutions to background check prospective merchants as well as providing support to the rest of the team.
This could include problem solving and data analysis. We are constantly innovating and automating workflow, and you will be expected to contribute your views on how we can continuously improve.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for conducting due diligence, including complex cases, on customers in line with regulatory standards.
- Sourcing of data from approved public sources using the methods outlined in policies and procedures.
- Be able to identify high risk indicators/ red flags when conducting KYC/KYB
- Be the first point of contact for KYC/KYB queries and coordinating with relevant teams to obtain all necessary information
- Resolving queries regarding applications
- Liaise with in-house developers to improve bespoke systems
- Follow process controls and making recommendations to improve the efficiency, control, and work quality of existing KYC/KYB processes
- Deal with ad hoc queries from clients / merchants
- Identifying and contacting potential risk merchants regarding non-payment
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skillset:
- Ability to be flexible, quickly learn new skills, and meet uncompromising quality requirements and production expectations while working closely with others.
- Ability to work independently; take initiative; and adapt to change.
- Strong processing and analytical skills with the ability to analyse large amounts of data, decipher higher risks attributes, and handle appropriately.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Highly organised and reliable
- Excellent attention to detail, numeracy and literacy skills.
- Be ambitious and motivated as the company grows there will be opportunity for development
