As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute audit engagements, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Review financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards
- Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and support
- Identify control deficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
- Participate in the development and improvement of audit methodologies and tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit, preferably in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications
