About the Digital team

GBG’s dynamic digital marketing team is one of 3 centres of excellence that forms the Group Marketing team. The digital team operates a global remit across all business units and regions and are the go-to experts for the business, helping to ensure activity is aligned across all channels and GBG continues to deliver best in class experiences to both existing and future customers.

The role

Aligned to either our Chester or London office, this exciting role focusses on SEO and Paid Media. You will be managing the optimisation of our websites for search engines (SEO), whilst using paid advertising to drive quality traffic via paid search, display and paid social campaigns to support lead generation.

What you will do

  • Create GBG's SEO strategy to improve online discoverability
  • Work with our developers to help optimise our technical SEO
  • Own the day-to-day management of all GBG Ads campaigns and budget to support brand awareness and lead generation
  • Recommend new channels and tools to help amplify the brand and achieve competitive advantage
  • Manage all paid media platforms including Facebook Ads, Linkedin Ads and InMails, Google Display Network Ads and Bing Ads
  • Lead on our ABM strategy and campaign execution in 6sense
  • Feed into the creation of the broader content marketing strategy to ensure high quality and relevant content is being produced that will attract new visitors
  • Support copywriting for ads and landing pages designed for A/B testing
  • Own reporting using Google platforms including GA4, and present to stakeholders
  • Support ad hoc projects as required

What we're looking for

  • Experience of Google Ads, either from agency or in house
  • A proven background in SEO tactics and best-practice
  • Experience working with a website CMS (Umbraco is desirable)
  • Google Analytics, MS Excel
  • Experience of SEO tools such as SEMrush and Brightedge preferrable
  • Experience developing social channels (Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter)
