CRM Executive

Hybrid - 2 days a week in Cardiff office

Confused.com is the UK’s first comparison platform for car insurance. We’ve been helping customers since 2002 by empowering them to make better decisions around insurance and financial services. What’s the role?

This is an exciting opportunity for a CRM Executive to join our team at Confused.com. We’re at an exciting point in our journey as we've recently migrated to our new Customer Engagement Platform (CEP), Braze.

This position is perfect for candidates with hands-on email and CRM marketing experience. We’re looking for someone who wants to progress in their career and is looking to challenge themselves by driving a brand new platform.

Day to day, you’ll be working in a fast paced, multi-channel environment. You’ll be working with the team:

  • Developing and implementing automated customer journeys
  • Deploying tactical campaigns
  • Working with a broad range of stakeholders inside and outside the team
  • Optimise the best ways to target, and reward existing customers - whether it’s via email, SMS, or push notifications

What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential:

  • Ability to create automated multi-channel user journeys and complex workflows in a Customer Engagement Platform (CEP) to support objectives of improving engagement and conversion
  • Some knowledge of automated lifecycle programs, dynamic content, testing methodologies and inbox placement
  • Good understanding of data management, analysis and reporting such as Google Analytics and Tableau
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the business areas and the wider business to deliver timely and effective campaigns
  • Good planning and organisational skills, with proven ability to work to strict deadlines and manage multiple channels and campaigns simultaneously
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent by experience of at least 1 year in an email / CRM marketing role

Desirable:

  • Experience using Braze
  • Experience building SMS, push notifications and in-app campaigns
  • Basic email HTML coding experience
  • Experience working within the insurance market
  • Experience working with retention and loyalty programmes
