About the role:

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex and high-impact projects that involve multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. You will work closely with our product, engineering, compliance, legal, and business teams, as well as with our partners and regulators, to ensure that our payment solutions meet the highest standards of quality, security, and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects; ensure familiarity with scope and project objectives and establish clear rules and responsibilities for the project stakeholders;
  • Develop project plans, forecast and schedule;
  • Work with stakeholders to record detailed project requirements, constraints and assumptions to establish project deliverables, using requirement gathering techniques (e.g. planning sessions, brainstorming, focus groups);
  • Ensure plans for assigned projects include work breakdown, project organization chart, cost/budget and communication, risk, quality and resource plans;
  • Communicate project plans to affected parties to ensure a common understanding, set expectations and align stakeholders and project team members;
  • Ensure execution of tasks defined in the project plan to achieve the project goals;
  • Execute all parts of the project plan and manage the budget/forecast. Monitor and control project work including change controls;
  • Implement approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project risk events;
  • Improve project team performance by building team cohesiveness, leading, mentoring and motivating to facilitate cooperation; ensure project efficiency and boost morale;
  • Support larger project initiatives working under the direction of higher management;

Requirements

To be considered you should have:

  • High-energy and the attitude of a self-starter;
  • 5 years+ of proven experience in managing complex and cross-functional projects in the payment industry or a similar digital banking / electronic money institution domain;
  • A solid understanding of the payments ecosystem, regulations, standards, and technologies, would be a distinct advantage, although not essential, however a proactive self-educting attitude is essential.
  • A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business, Commerce, Engineering or analytical discipline.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to oversee schedules and processes for multiple teams, identify and remove roadblocks and work toward continuous improvement;
  • Distinctive problem-solving skills;
  • Demonstrable experience in software development practices, processes and methodologies (in strategy process consulting, PMO, project manager capacity);
  • The ability to work with a team to assess needs, understand requirements, and syndicate solutions;
  • The ability to influence stakeholders to take action;
  • The ability to communicate successfully with senior leadership, anticipate senior thinking f
