Zinc’s founding team have spent years in recruitment, talent, and HRTech. We saw a field plagued with inefficiency, prejudice and a lack of transparency. We're looking for

Over the past 18 months Zinc has enjoyed a period of phenomenal growth, and as we head to Series A and beyond we’ve identified an opportunity to build a community of practice and knowledge sharing around events amp; webinar activities that will drive an increase in MQLs.

We're seeking an Events Marketing Manager to join Zinc and plan, strategise and project manage all aspects of event and webinar execution from start to finish. This is an exciting opportunity to own the events, webinars and networking functions of the marketing team. This is a role for someone creative and entrepreneurial, who thrives in a self-starter environment. We are looking for someone who can think strategically, has very high attention to detail, someone who is able to manage multiple projects at one time and who is a natural at finding ways of building and nurturing communities.

Your day-to-day

• Lead end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of Zinc's events and webinars
• Drive attendance and lead acquisition through targeted messaging and cross-channel collaboration
• Manage overall organisation, including budget planning and successful project implementation
• Evaluate third-party event providers, negotiate contracts, and provide onsite and online support
• Collaborate with in-house designer for accurate brand representation in event materials
• Track and measure results, ensuring timely follow-up on qualified leads and reporting on pipeline
• Work with Content Lead to extract rich content from events involving customers, HR influencers, and potential clients
• Own the agency event budget, handling invoicing and purchases.

Requirements

Your Toolbox

• You’re someone with meticulous attention to detail
• You’ve got experience working in a fast-paced start-up/scale-up environment and know the ropes
• You’re a self-starter and able to work autonomously
• As a highly organised person, you’re proficient at managing multiple projects at a time
• You are creative, innovative, and always thinking outside the box
• Strong communication is a given, you’re confident with presenting and effectively interacting with all levels of the organisation and at events and webinars

• Solid, demonstrable, and relevant marketing experience: ideally in event marketing, demand generation, or sales enablement
  

Nice to Haves

• B2B SaaS company experience (even better if HR Tech)
• Experience using Hubspot
• Knowledge of webinar software is a plus
