You will have the expertise, experience, drive and enthusiasm to lead our Belong village. Taking the next steps in maintaining and growing a high quality service with facilities that welcome all age groups whilst overseeing our reasonability and commitment to care excellence, regulatory compliance and legislation.

You will lead by example taking people along on the journey to achieve and maintain a positive and inclusive environment; sharing the Belong values across the Village, the wider organisation and the community beyond.

As General Manager you will have commercial responsibility for your Village so it is essential that you have excellent financial and commercial awareness, whilst being adaptable and flexible to accommodate a changeable landscape. You will also be knowledgeable and have experience of working with the local authorities and the ICB to ensure that we provide an exceptional level of service and meet regulatory compliance.

Requirements

JOB TITLE: General Manager

RESPONSIBLE TO: Head of Operations

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Effectively lead and develop competent, skilled and customer focused teams that deliver the Belong Values and achieve impressive results to ensure the business objectives for the Belong Village are achieved

Be a visible and positive role model; working in accordance with Belong standards and values; developing and enabling a culture where people feel supported and valued

Maximise customer satisfaction and financial performance of the village

Ensure that services provided meet with legislative and organisational standards and uphold the Belong values

Build and develop relationships with key professionals and ensure that the needs of customers are met through collaboration and agreed service levels

Manage the contracts with LA and CCG ensuring a quality service and compliance

Provide support for the Registered Manager to enable them to fully discharge the responsibilities that are required by the regulator

Monitor the performance of the village against key objectives and action improvements as required

Ensure that costs are controlled and revenue opportunities are effectively sourced and delivered.

Generate new business and on-going profitability of existing services through continuous promotion of Belong within the local community and in response to local needs

Ensure that all systems, processes and practices are compliant with Belong standards and risk is managed appropriately e.g. Finance, HR, Hamp;S, Complaints, Audit

Provide out of hours support and advice and deputise for the support manager.
