About the Role
We are seeking a Web Designer for custom packaging solutions company. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating visually appealing websites that are user-friendly and engaging for our group of companies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.
Duties:
- Design and create visually appealing websites using industry-standard design tools such as wordpress/ magenta etc
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and translate them into functional designs
- Conduct user research to understand user needs and preferences
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts
- Implement responsive design principles using frameworks such as Bootstrap
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements into the final product
- Perform website maintenance tasks such as updating content, fixing bugs, and optimizing performance
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Web Designer or similar role
- Proficient in using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Balsamiq, InVision, and Adobe Illustrator
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular
- Experience with wireframing tools and techniques
- Familiarity with user research methodologies
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
