Requirements

How you will make a difference and responsibilities

  • Able to own and deliver major client implementation projects including clients with revenue in excess of 1m.
  • Work with a team of Lendscape consultants and SMEs during Discovery Phases to establish the scope, budget and timeline for the project implementation facilitating client workshops as necessary.
  • Prepare and maintain project statements of work, project plans and project estimates, agreeing the terms of engagement outlined in these documents with the client.
  • Oversee and organise Lendscape activities in support of projects through various Lendscape consultants and SMEs
  • Ensure that all work carried out by Lendscape on behalf of the clients is billed in accordance with the contract terms and that clients pay promptly.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate estimates to complete for all streams, including customisation and integration.
  • Visit clients as required to drive the progress of their project according to the scope, budget and timeline agreed.
  • Carry out project retrospectives on completion of the projects ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Attend client meetings either remotely or in person in support of the Sales process
  • Train, coach and mentor other project managers to improve the project management capabilities of the Delivery Team to allow project managers within the team to progress their careers within Lendscape.
  • Assist in prioritising the work of other teams in support of the complete portfolio of client projects.

You are responsible for

· Work to improve Lendscape’s project methodology and governance to ensure we can effectively deliver multiple projects of varying complexity and size.

· Follow the project methodology suitable to the individual project, using both agile and waterfall approaches to project management.

· Train, coach and mentor other team members on project management methodology to improve the capabilities of the Delivery Team and to allow project managers to grow within Lendscape.

· Be a nominated escalation point for other client projects where appropriate.

· Assist in prioritising the work of other teams in support of the complete portfolio of client projects.

  • Commercial awareness and experience in managing client relationships is required for the successful management of Lendscape projects.

  • Experience of managing complex projects preferably in a commercial finance or IT implementation setting.
  • Qualified in the latest project management methodology.
  • Qualifications may be replaced by experience if experience is extensive.
  • Evidence of experience in using project management tools.
  • Experience in stakeholder management at all levels in an organisation.
  • Knowledge of IT implementation projects.
  • Understanding of corporate finance processes and business models.
  • Foreign language an advantage although not essential.
  • Establishes strong, trusting relationships with others based on mutual respect and understanding.
  • Good communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Able to quickly get to the core of complex issues and explain them to others.
  • Takes ownership of problems and uses own initiative.
