Working arrangements: This role will complete the first 6 weeks from our office, following this the team spend at least 2 days a week in the office. This role works Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:30.

Talent Acquisition - a core function of our People team - is responsible for identifying, acquiring, assessing, and hiring the fantastic employees who help make Starling a success.

We are hiring for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Operations Team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, from day one, you will focus on supporting our hiring needs for a variety of different areas as we continue to execute on our ambitious growth plans throughout 2024. This role will initially focus and own recruitment across Financial Crime, including Fraud (Investigations amp; Prevention), Customer amp; Enhanced Due Diligence, Claims, AML amp; CTF and our Strategy amp; Change functions. This role will support recruitment needs across the Operations Team as required (including volume teams such as Customer Service and Onboarding).

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage multiple end to end recruitment processes
  • Sourcing, shortlisting and conducting first round interviews; evaluating candidates and providing feedback; through to offer negotiation and on-boarding.
  • Manage volume recruitment whilst ensuring all candidates have a great experience
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner and broader People team to build, and manage MI to help drive data driven decisions about our sourcing strategy and hiring process.
  • Be proactive with sourcing platforms and look at new and innovative ways of finding the best talent
  • Attend careers events to help raise awareness of Starling Bank, being a brand ambassador and always looking for new ways to showcase Starling as an employer of choice.
  • Continually look to improve processes.
  • Support a large number of hiring managers in the business

Requirements

  • Recruitment experience is essential, we're open to candidates from a purely agency, in house or blended background. Inhouse experience is preferred
  • Experience recruiting for Financial Crime vacancies is highly desired,
  • Ability to work at pace, things move fast here at Starling so you’ll need to be comfortable working quickly.
  • Experience of high volume recruitment is preferred
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail. It’s the little things that matter, you should be able to demonstrate giving great candidate experience.
  • Be data driven and look at ways to ensure we are being proactive with hiring
