Quality Assurance Assistant (Russian-speaking)

We have an exciting, flexible role available in our Translations team at ICS-translate. As a Quality Assurance Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality translations across a variety of exciting markets, industries and languages.

The tasks involved will range in type, scale and frequency, but good attention to detail is essential to spot and address errors for formatting, omissions, punctuation, to name a few.

With our focus on international content, we are specifically looking for Russian speakers!

The role:

• Casual role - between 10 and 20 hours per week (depending on business need)
• Salary: 10.50/hour
• Checking content that has been translated and proofread by our freelance Linguists, offering a final QA check before projects are submitted to the client
• Checking correct inputting of translations in localisation software
• Providing constructive feedback to translators after QA checks
• Documenting feedback related to quality assurance checks and being on-hand to support the wider team

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with personnel at all levels
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Strong proofreading/editing skills
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills
