Role Overview

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for managing the company's contracts and providing commercial support to the business. This role will require strong contract management skills, as well as the ability to analyse and negotiate terms and conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team and other stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and mitigate risks.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills. The Commercial Manager will play a crucial role in managing the company's relationships with clients and suppliers and ensuring that all contracts are in line with legal and business requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms and conditions.
  • Ensure contract compliance and adherence to legal and business requirements.
  • Provide commercial support and advice to the business, including analysing and assessing risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
  • Manage relationships with clients resolving any issues or disputes.
  • Monitor contract performance and identify opportunities for improvement or renegotiation.
  • Stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations that may impact contract management.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the recruitment industry.
  • Previous experience in contract management or commercial roles.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of commercial considerations.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse and assess risks and make sound business judgments.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to achieve SLAs.

Broader Skills and Experience:

  • Ideally Law degree/ Qualified by experiences.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
