We are recruiting a Chief Technology Officer for an organization based in Finchley, United Kingdom. This senior executive will shape technology strategy, strengthen the organization’s digital capabilities, and ensure technology investments support business priorities.

- Set and communicate a technology vision, roadmap, and operating strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead technology teams and oversee architecture, software platforms, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and service delivery.
- Assess emerging technologies and guide modernization, digital transformation, and scalable product or platform development.
- Establish standards for technology governance, risk management, resilience, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to translate needs into practical technology solutions.
- Manage technology budgets, vendors, strategic partnerships, and investment priorities while tracking outcomes.
- Build a high-performing leadership team and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for
- Proven executive leadership of technology strategy, transformation, and large-scale technology functions.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud and infrastructure, software delivery, data platforms, and systems integration.
- Expertise in cybersecurity, technology risk, business continuity, data protection, and governance practices.
- Ability to align technology roadmaps and investment cases with business strategy and measurable outcomes.
- Experience overseeing budgets, vendors, service performance, and complex technology programs.
- Understanding of financial services or other regulated environments, including relevant compliance expectations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, board-level communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and lead multidisciplinary teams through organizational change.
- Strategic problem-solving, commercial awareness, and a practical approach to innovation and operational resilience.
