Job Description
As one of our Production Geologists, you'll develop the 3D fit-for-purpose geological models of reservoirs that lead to the appraisal and development of well proposals or Field Development Plans (FDPs). You'll independently review the quality and quantity of existing data, identify information gaps, carry out geological input and reserves calculations and establish which parameters critically control volumetric ranges.
Providing a regional geological framework from which reliable risk assessments can be made and critical geological parameters for successful development can be predicted, you'll also deliver a fit-for-purpose static reservoir model and constrain models with seismic interpretation and dynamic production data.
Job Specification
With a Bachelor's degree in a geosciences discipline and at least five years' EP experience as a Production Geologist or in a similar role, you'll possess solid experience, some of which will have been gained in an operating environment.
You should have a high level of skill and mastery in reservoir geology, regional and structural geology or static and dynamic reservoir modeling, and excellent understanding of the other areas. We'll also expect you to have experience of the formulation, construction and execution of field development plans, regional studies, play-based assessments, opportunity evaluations, farm-ins and licence rounds.
