Job Description
Ring is seeking a Moderation Analyst for the Neighbors team. Neighbors is a free app by Ring designed to help communities connect and stay informed about local safety updates – whether they own a Ring device or not.
The Moderation Analyst will work to uphold Ring Neighbors’ Community Guidelines, while maintaining the quality of community interactions on the Neighbors App. By evolving content moderation policies, developing new training material, implementing scalable solutions, and driving processes that are executed by a larger team, your work will contribute to empowering our users to more safely and effectively interact with each other. This position is best suited for a data-driven candidate who is a motivated collaborator, a resourceful problem solver, and a clear communicator. This team member will report directly to our Manager of Policy & Safety.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee quality assurance for content on the Neighbors App
· Assess training documents to improve moderation accuracy
· Influence the evolution of moderation policy and tools with intuition, attention to detail, and effective communication
· Assist in responding to content-related user inquiries via email
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's Degree
· 2+ years experience in program or project management
