The Inside Sales analyst is part of the Business Operations Team inside the Display organisation of Samsung UK. The 2021 vision for the team is to “Excite UK & Ireland businesses with display solutions that deliver the most impactful experiences”. The exciting things Display team will be involved includes the growth 4 different categories covering LCD Monitor, Hospitality Display, LED Signage and Smart Signage (Interactive, video wall, standalone, outdoor).
The role will report directly to the Business Operations Manager, and then directly to Head of Department. The role is a diverse role that will predominantly engage with our sales force including Business Development Managers and Channel Managers, as well as our Product Mgt and marketing teams. In addition, there will be a need for some engagement with our Supply Chain Management team. (SCM)
What will this role focus on?
The role will be key to improving 3 key aspects of our business.
Providing support and pricing to our unmanaged channel partners who historically have had no point of contact for engagement with Samsung and capturing opportunities into our CRM system, Salesforce. Supporting our strategy of Solutions development by working with the Product Management and marketing teams to support our Solutions Business Development Manager with market research, proposition development, legal contract set up, marketing collateral and go to market plans. Supporting the BDM and Channel teams with tender response documentation and proposal development documentation on special or high value projects.
Role and Responsibilities
Other tasks may include:
Team support for business reporting
Checking Samsung.com pages and supporting new content upload/offload
Coordinating the staff sales initiatives
Supporting the Head of Display on key strategic initiatives as required
What do we need for this role?
Essential Hard Skills Required:
Educated to degree level (Business management, Marketing Management)
Strong in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros is a plus)
Good skill in most Microsoft office software (Powerpoint, Word)
Experience in Salesforce ideally or other similar CRM system
Experience in handling, manipulating and interpreting large data sets
An analytical eye
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
Focused on the quality of detail
Strong numeracy / commercial acumen

The Interview Process
There will be 2 stages:
- one with the hiring Line manager and a Product Management team member
- second interview with the head of channel and the head of business development, and we will ask you to prepare a presentation on a specific topic
