Calling all CCNA Network Consultants!
Siemens Digital Industries is seeking a future thinking, CCNA Network Consultant to join our amazing Digital Connectivity and Power (DCP) team!
As part of our DCP team, you will work on a wide range of Network Solutions and projects ranging from off-shore Wind Farms, complex wireless networks, sensitive applications through to re-design of factory networks!
As Operational Technology become even more critical, IT and OT systems converge and digitalisation gathers pace and becomes a reality rather than a vision; the need for high quality, resilient, redundant, and secure networks increase.
Our solutions are diverse, and you will work on a multitude of hardware platforms, whilst also working on our exciting new solutions, such as our Real Time Location Solution (RTLS)!
The role is field based and the flexibility to travel in the UK and occasionally overseas is essential!
This is a fantastic role for someone who has recently passed there CCNA exam and is looking to start their career in an organization who values development and creating value for their customers!

Roles & Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the Centre of excellence for the Industrial Communications Products & Solutions (SCALANCE & RuggedCom).
- Technical expertise covering industry standard technologies and protocols with solid switching, routing and network security experience would be beneficial!
- You will have experience with fault analysis and troubleshooting skills covering the following areas, Configuration of Network switches and routers.
- Create test plans and test procedures and Testing of the Network and perform systems tests and produce reports as required.
- You will excellent an excellent customer focus, with the ability to quickly help them understanding our technologies
- Delivering our Industrial Network Courses, assisting with the education and training of Customers, technician, and engineers.
Projects
- Ensuring any project, consultancy or support works are scoped, quoted, documented, and mutually agreed prior to commencement of work.
- Ensure project risks are understood and highlighted to Business Unit Manager prior to commencement of work.
Job Specification
About you..
We are looking for a network engineer or consultant with experience of hardware, networks, and solutions, along with a detailed customer focus! You will have a CCNA qualification, with the ability to translate complex technical terms into commercial values for our customers.
This role requires a technical understanding, but as importantly the right mindset!
