Senior Agency and SI Partnerships Manager at Checkout.com

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our fast-growing Commercial Partnerships team here at Checkout.com. This person will be responsible for building and nurturing our Agency and Systems Integrator (SI) partner ecosystem in the UK. This role, which is based in London, involves engaging with these strategically aligned partners and raising Checkout.com’s profile in the Agency and SI space. This position reports to our VP EMEA Commercial Partnerships, who is based in London. 

In order to be successful in this role, you will work closely with various internal teams, such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Operations and Legal. The ideal candidate will need to be an independent, highly motivated individual, who is able to stand out in an entrepreneurial environment and outperform goals through personal drive. It is important that this person is well-established in the Agency and SI space and has a strong network of relevant contacts. 

About you:

  • 5+ years of industry experience in Sales, Account Management, Project Management or Business Development roles. Direct experience in Partner Management preferable
  • Well-connected in the e-commerce platform and/or subscription management platform ecosystems, with a network of key agency and SI partners
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A confident public speaker with a desire to talk at events
  • Results-oriented and strong attention to detail 
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple relationships and projects simultaneously 
  • Pro-active, self-motivated and able to flourish whilst working with minimal guidance
  • Fluent in English. Fluency in Spanish and/or Italian is a bonus

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing and nurturing a portfolio of agency and systems integrator (SI) partners that build, support and scale businesses running on e-commerce and/or subscription management platforms.
  • Growing Checkout.com’s presence amongst agency and SI partners, by strategically positioning our cross-border payment solutions and services.
  • Being able to identify the key agency and SI partnerships that will enable Checkout.com to accelerate the investments that we are making with e-commerce and/or subscription management platforms.
  • Developing and maintaining a pipeline of new business that has been sourced or influenced by partners, and working cross-functionally with both partner and internal teams to drive this pipeline.
  • Evangelising our payments solutions and services by closely aligning to partners’ expertise, market coverage and platform specialisms.
  • Developing success metrics for each partner you manage, including KPIs related to merchant pipeline, events and marketing.
  • Becoming an expert on Checkout.com’s product offering, complementary ecosystem technologies, product roadmap and company vision, and keeping partners informed.
  • Working cross-functionally with internal teams to launch and manage new partnerships.
