Responsibilities:o Develop specifications in collaboration with stakeholderso Design and Develop features for SaaS and Virtual Appliance form factorso Write efficient code that is reusable and testableo Participate in design and code reviewsQualificationsRequired Skills/Experience:o BSc/BEng/MSc/ in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experienceo 5+ years software development experience in a professional environmento Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable applicationo Strong teamwork and communication skillso Excellent problem solving capabilitieso Strong unit test and debugging skillsDesired Skills/Experience:o Familiarity with Cloud/ SaaS architectureso Linux/Unix software development experienceo Experience developing RESTful applicationso Programming experience with Python and Python frameworks e.g. Django, Flask, TastyPie etc., Java and JavaScript, C, C++.o Database experience preferably with Postgres and/or Elastic search.o Experience with any of the following Redis, RabbitMQ, Celeryo Understanding of Cloud / SaaS based infrastructure and virtualized environments e.g. AWS, VMWare, Dockero Familiarity with security applications and principles, threat intelligence, and incident response
