Everbridge: A fast-growing global provider of SaaS-based critical communications and enterprise safety solutions currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Credit controller to be based in our Colchester office.
The Credit controller will be a part of the International accounting team and be responsible for the credit control operations of our International subsidiaries. The role will be responsible for setting and meeting collection targets and statistics for our subsidiaries based in the UK, mainland Europe amp; the APAC regions.What you'll do:

The Credit controller will be a part of the International accounting team and be responsible for the credit control operations of our International subsidiaries. The role will be responsible for setting and meeting collection targets and statistics for our subsidiaries based in the UK, mainland Europe amp; the APAC regions.What you'll do:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining collection targets for a growing business
- Contribute to target setting and maintaining metrics to assess performance against targets
- Build business partnering relationships with all stakeholders
- Work with our order processing and billing team to ensure accurate records and request paperwork amp; purchase orders as and when required, including allocation of receipts
- Work with our Accounting team to prepare meaningful and documented bad debt provisions on a quarterly basis
- Work closely with the corporate accounting teams to ensure well-documented, accurate and timely financial contribution to closing monthly
- Work closely with the accounting team to monitor issues and propose solutions
- As the company continues to experience rapid international growth, work as an agent of change to help lead the company through the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of uniform collection-related operations, processes, and procedures
- Align with US HQ policies and procedures to ensure uniformity and best practice
- Coordinate with external auditors during the annual statutory audits to ensure timely and accurate filings
- Assist during the annual corporate audit with any requests for documentation and testing
- Assist during the annual corporate SOX 404b certification process including testing, walk-throughs, and remediation of scoped-in international subsidiaries
- Maintain an individual view of each subsidiary whilst keeping an eye on the overall position
- Oversee the review of credit checking amp; account applications for any proposed new clients
What you'll bring:
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience in collections
- Software company experience or any experience of SAAS and cloud-based companies is a plus
- Work experience for a subsidiary of a US-based parent company is also a plus
- Project management skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint amp; Outlook
- Experience with Netsuite, or similar, is an advantage
- A second European language is a distinct advantage
